Fantastic food, wonderful atmosphere, beautifully decorated. The whole experience was wonderful, the manager helped us choose the food, for four of us we shared the mixed grill and couldn't have chosen better, we will definitely be coming back, we even stayed for dessert and coffee which we rarely do.
Have been going to Sark since before they moved to the bigger restaurant. The venue is amazing with a friendly buzzing atmosphere and the food is second to none. Highly recommended Sark if you've never been, you won't regret it.
Been here a couple of times and definitely my favourite place to eat out in Maldon. Food is so flavourful, especially the kebabs with the smokey charcoal taste. Service is amazing and you feel really valued as a customer even when they are busy. If you live further out, it's definitely worth the journey.
We enjoyed the lunchtime menu here and found it to be excellent value for money, great food, and excellent service. The lunchtime 2 course for 11.95 runs from 11am to 4pm (I think) and is an incredibly generous deal. The portions appeared small but were perfectly filling. The staff made a fuss of our daughter, and we very well looked-after. The food was a little slow to arrive, but it was fresh and looked great, so who cares. We will definitely be back for lunch again, I highly recommend.
The ambience, the decor, the music: it's simply stunning. The food in itself was piping hot with generous portions no-one could finish and my lamb sarma beyti was dripping with sauce and cheese. It was so rich and filling and I loved it!! I highly recommend if you're in need of a good quality restaurant around here. Only gripe would be that the soft drinks came half empty which seemed to be a shame.
Good friendly service, outstanding food. A little busy later in the evening but only because of its popularity. You must pre book as I noticed did have to wait a while. Will definitely be returning.
Visited this restaurant on Christmas eve for our annual dinner with friends. What a fantastic restaurant, service was impeccable and the food was delicious, portions are of a generous size. The boregi was my favourite and I would recommend the veggie moussaka which was lovely. Friends went for the mixed grill and they couldn't finish the portion. We were the last group to leave and the manager was kind and did not rush or force us out, instead we we were told to take our time and they patiently waited for us to finish our drinks and food. Thank you we will return.
We only had 45 minutes for lunch and the guys here treated us to an amazing three course tasting menu. They created a vegan meze for me and the missus off the cuff that was better than a lot of purely vegan restaurants. Raspberry sorbet for dessert too !
